Patrick Chapman ‘The Following Year’, May 2024

Fay’s drawing of a circle is featured on the cover of Patrick Chapman’s new volume of poetry ‘The Following Year’ published by Salmon Poetry, as part of an on-going association between artist and poet. Patrick lives in Dublin and has published several volumes of poetry. He has a strong interest in the visual arts. Patrick made contact with Fay when she was drawing pictures of her childhood memories that resonated with him. They met when Fay visited Dublin to see the Neolithic burial sites of Newgrange and Knowth in 2023. Patrick’s poems range from the deeply personal to the universal and address the human condition.
